  • A Residence Supervisor and two Residence Assistants coordinate student life at Highseas, and reside on site. Continuous 24-hour supervision is not provided.
  • Morning and evening meals are prepared by a professional chef during the week.
  • Local transportation is available via a Laboratory vehicle, which is driven by a team of three to five students (over the age of 21) who are pre-selected from the group by application.
  • Health care is available through the local hospital and local physician services.

Tofer CarlsonThe drive up to Highseas went something like this. ... I saw the house and started laughing uncontrollably. I guess that it had finally hit me: I was going to spend the summer, living in a mansion, in Bar Harbor. Within minutes, I became one of the 37 strangers waiting, unpacking, and
hoping it wasn’t just a dream.
