Cooperative Predoctoral Program
The Jackson Laboratory runs a predoctoral training program offering opportunities for PhD research and training in diverse areas, in cooperation with degree-granting academic programs.
Master of Science in Teaching program
This is a content-rich, research-based master’s program for secondary science and mathematics teachers offered in conjunction with the University of Maine Center for Science and Mathematics Education Research.
Summer Student program
Outstanding students from all walks of life conduct biomedical research as apprentices in the laboratories of scientists.
High school internship
This program offers local Maine students with a strong interest in science and mathematics an opportunity to work "at the bench" under the sponsorship of a scientist.
College Academic Year program
Students work full-time to gain familiarity with all aspects of a research project: designing the project, implementing the research plan, analyzing data, and reporting results.
